The public space of suburban villages is regarded as a transitional space between urban and rural areas. How to organically renew the rural environment and improve the quality of rural human living environment has urgent practical significance. Starting from the problem representation and transformation development direction of the rural public space in the suburbs of the city, this paper investigates the use of the rural public space in Wuyi Village, Jinshan District, Shanghai, analyzes the problem representation, and puts forward the micro renewal strategy in combination with the practice of the micro renewal of the rural space in Wuyi Village, with a view to providing reference for the relevant design.
