The high requirements for fire water system design are due to the high fire risk and rescue difficulties of super high-rise buildings. The fire water system of a super high-rise building is introduced in this paper, and the transmission water tank partition is adjusted to the pressure-reducing valve group partition through the optimization of the hydrant system. The application of a wet fire hydrant system and a dry fire hydrant system with electric heat tracing insulation in the open multi-storey parking garage above ground is analyzed and how to balance safety and reliability as well as economic rationality in the design is discussed.
