At this stage, high-rise building makes the depth of foundation pit greatly increased. In order to ensure the safety of foundation pit construction link and improve the quality and level of foundation pit construction, we should do a good job in monitoring the construction process, improve the construction plan and optimize the construction management combined with the monitoring results. With the continuous development of information technology, the level of automation of foundation pit monitoring has been significantly improved. The advanced and dynamic characteristics of this monitoring technology are obvious. Based on this, this paper introduces the monitoring object of foundation pit construction, analyzes the application significance of the automatic monitoring technology in the foundation pit monitoring link, and summarizes the common types of the automatic monitoring technology in the link of foundation pit monitoring.
