This paper takes a green intelligent building project as a background case to demonstrate the application of BIM technology in cost control of intelligent buildings across four phases: decision-making

design

construction

and operation

and conducts refined cost control based on BIM technology. The results show that the total construction period of this project is shortened by 15 days

and the budget cost is reduced by approximately 600

000 yuan compared to the previous estimate

which have achieved excellent economic and social benefits. Through this article

it provides municipal reference for the cost management of intelligent buildings

fully leveraging the functions and advantages of BIM technology

and improving the level of cost control management.
