Research Progress and Future Prospects for the Upgrading and Renewal of Underground Pipeline Networks in the Context of Resilient Cities
In response to the complex risks posed by climate change and urbanization
the resilient upgrading and renewal of urban underground pipelines has emerged as a critical imperative. This paper provides a systematic review of the research progress in this field. Technologically
the focus has shifted from traditional excavation and repair towards trenchless
intelligent detection
and predictive operation and maintenance. From a management perspective
the digitalization and visualization control of the pipeline network have been achieved through the support of GIS
BIM and digital twin platforms. Through the "Smart Pipeline" case
the practical path of technology integration is revealed. In the future
it is essential to integrate the "urban health check" assessment system and promote the transformation of renovation and upgrading from a single project to a systematic and intelligent resilient infrastructure.
